# Bubblegum vs TONGUES

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bubblegum at 179 against TONGUES's 5. Bubblegum also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.6). TONGUES's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubblegum sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and TONGUES sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bubblegum against 4.8 for TONGUES. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubblegum has 179 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Bubblegum's written reviews are positive against 100% of TONGUES's.

Bubblegum ships an update every 2 days, TONGUES every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
