# Bubblegum vs Norae

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bubblegum at freemium against Norae's subscription. Bubblegum also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (80% vs 45%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubblegum sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Norae sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubblegum holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubblegum has 175 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Bubblegum's written reviews are positive against 45% of Norae's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
