# ShiftCal vs log off

ShiftCal and log off both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ShiftCal's written reviews are positive against 71% of log off's. ShiftCal also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). log off's advantage is ratings volume (429 vs 8) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShiftCal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and log off sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ShiftCal against 4.9 for log off. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: log off has 429 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of ShiftCal's written reviews are positive against 71% of log off's.

ShiftCal ships an update every 3 weeks, log off every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
