# ShiftCal vs Wanderwalks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wanderwalks at every 2 weeks against ShiftCal's every 3 weeks. ShiftCal's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShiftCal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Wanderwalks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ShiftCal against 5.0 for Wanderwalks. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 4 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ShiftCal ships an update every 3 weeks, Wanderwalks every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
