# Dotta vs Interstate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Interstate at none against Dotta's 1. Dotta's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dotta sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Interstate asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dotta ships an update weekly, Interstate every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
