# Hour vs Loyno Alert

The clearest difference is rating: Loyno Alert at 5.0 against Hour's 3.0. Loyno Alert also leads on iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.3). Hour's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (150 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Loyno Alert holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hour has 150 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hour ships an update every 3 weeks, Loyno Alert every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
