# Lackin vs Hunting Zone

Lackin and Hunting Zone both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Lackin's written reviews are positive against 50% of Hunting Zone's. Lackin also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lackin sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Hunting Zone sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Lackin against 4.8 for Hunting Zone. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lackin has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Lackin's written reviews are positive against 50% of Hunting Zone's.

Lackin ships an update every 5 days, Hunting Zone fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
