# Sushi Loca vs Capriotti's

Sushi Loca and Capriotti's both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Sushi Loca's written reviews are positive against 39% of Capriotti's's. Capriotti's's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Sushi Loca against 4.7 for Capriotti's. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capriotti's has 3.8K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Sushi Loca's written reviews are positive against 39% of Capriotti's's.

Sushi Loca ships an update every 4 months, Capriotti's every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
