# Fourth Grade Learning Games vs alphaben

The clearest difference is rating: alphaben at 5.0 against Fourth Grade Learning Games's 4.2. alphaben also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Fourth Grade Learning Games's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and review sentiment (48% vs 33%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fourth Grade Learning Games sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. alphaben asks for nothing beyond the download.

alphaben holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fourth Grade Learning Games has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Fourth Grade Learning Games's written reviews are positive against 33% of alphaben's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
