# Cryptogram Mania vs Pulse Loop

The clearest difference is ads: Cryptogram Mania at none against Pulse Loop's shown. Pulse Loop's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cryptogram Mania sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Pulse Loop sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cryptogram Mania ships an update every 6 weeks, Pulse Loop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
