# Unexpected TV vs Unghetto+

The clearest difference is rating: Unexpected TV at 4.5 against Unghetto+'s 3.8. Unexpected TV also leads on ratings volume (365 vs 15). Unghetto+'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unexpected TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Unghetto+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Unexpected TV holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unexpected TV has 365 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Unexpected TV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Unghetto+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Unexpected TV ships an update every 3 months, Unghetto+ fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
