# Rock Identifier vs Aenot

The clearest difference is rating: Aenot at 4.6 against Rock Identifier's 1.0. Aenot also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rock Identifier sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Aenot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aenot holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aenot has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rock Identifier ships an update every 3 months, Aenot weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
