# Ithos vs Kayse

The clearest difference is rating: Ithos at 5.0 against Kayse's 4.6. Kayse's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ithos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kayse has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ithos ships an update fortnightly, Kayse every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
