# setlog vs Bamboo

The clearest difference is rating: Bamboo at 5.0 against setlog's 4.5. setlog's advantage is ratings volume (140 vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bamboo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: setlog has 140 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

setlog ships an update every 2 days, Bamboo weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
