# Strêak vs Valid

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Strêak at none against Valid's 1. Strêak also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Valid's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Valid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.49 per 7 days. Strêak asks for nothing beyond the download.

Strêak holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Valid has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Strêak's written reviews are positive against 77% of Valid's.

Strêak ships an update every 9 days, Valid every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
