# TLDL vs Notely

The clearest difference is monetization model: TLDL at free with in-app purchases against Notely's subscription. TLDL also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 40%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Notely's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLDL sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Notely sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TLDL holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLDL has 7.2K ratings behind it against 321, so its average is the more settled of the two.
