# TLDL vs AI Lecture Note Taker

The clearest difference is rating: TLDL at 4.8 against AI Lecture Note Taker's 4.3. TLDL also leads on ratings volume (7.2K vs 9). AI Lecture Note Taker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 73%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLDL sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and AI Lecture Note Taker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TLDL holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLDL has 7.2K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of TLDL's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Lecture Note Taker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
