# TLDL vs StudyIQ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StudyIQ at 100% against TLDL's 73%. StudyIQ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). TLDL's advantage is ratings volume (7.1K vs 3) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLDL sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and StudyIQ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudyIQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLDL has 7.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of TLDL's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudyIQ's.

TLDL ships an update every 9 days, StudyIQ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
