# TLDL vs YouLearn

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TLDL at 7.2K against YouLearn's 153. YouLearn's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLDL sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and YouLearn sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for TLDL against 4.8 for YouLearn. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLDL has 7.2K ratings behind it against 153, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 73% and 73% positive.

TLDL ships an update every 9 days, YouLearn every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
