# Transit.Tracker vs Schedules

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Schedules at none against Transit.Tracker's 6. Schedules also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 20%). Transit.Tracker's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 188). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transit.Tracker sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Schedules asks for nothing beyond the download.

Transit.Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transit.Tracker has 3.4K ratings behind it against 188, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Transit.Tracker's written reviews are positive against 50% of Schedules's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transit.Tracker ships an update monthly, Schedules every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
