# Wallpapers vs Wallpaper Galaxy

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wallpapers at 260 against Wallpaper Galaxy's 7. Wallpaper Galaxy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpapers sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Wallpaper Galaxy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wallpaper Galaxy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpapers has 260 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Wallpapers ships an update monthly, Wallpaper Galaxy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
