# Shiny vs Paldex Card Tracker

Shiny and Paldex Card Tracker both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Shiny's written reviews are positive against 33% of Paldex Card Tracker's. Shiny also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shiny sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Paldex Card Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Shiny against 4.8 for Paldex Card Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shiny has 3.7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Shiny's written reviews are positive against 33% of Paldex Card Tracker's.

Shiny ships an update every 5 days, Paldex Card Tracker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
