# Shiny vs Collectrics

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Shiny at 3.8K against Collectrics's 1. Shiny also leads on chart position (#138 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shiny sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Collectrics sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Shiny against 5.0 for Collectrics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shiny has 3.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
