# Tidbits vs Parenyx

The clearest difference is update cadence: Parenyx at every 5 days against Tidbits's every 11 days. Parenyx also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Tidbits's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tidbits sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Parenyx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Tidbits against 5.0 for Parenyx. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tidbits has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Tidbits ships an update every 11 days, Parenyx every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
