# HiFun嗨翻 vs Laya

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Laya at 100% against HiFun嗨翻's 52%. Laya also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 15) and ads (none vs shown). HiFun嗨翻's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (661 vs 5). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiFun嗨翻 sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month. Laya asks for nothing beyond the download.

HiFun嗨翻 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HiFun嗨翻 has 661 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of HiFun嗨翻's written reviews are positive against 100% of Laya's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HiFun嗨翻 ships an update fortnightly, Laya every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
