# Assistify vs Scratch Better

The clearest difference is rating: Scratch Better at 5.0 against Assistify's 3.2. Assistify's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assistify sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Scratch Better sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scratch Better holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Assistify has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Assistify ships an update every 3 days, Scratch Better weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
