# Hand Talk vs Edudo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Edudo at 100% against Hand Talk's 44%. Edudo also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). Hand Talk's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (888 vs 1). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hand Talk sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Edudo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hand Talk holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hand Talk has 888 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Hand Talk's written reviews are positive against 100% of Edudo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
