# Groops vs Number Place by Fifol

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Number Place by Fifol at none against Groops's 6. Groops's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Groops sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Number Place by Fifol asks for nothing beyond the download.

Number Place by Fifol holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Groops has 671 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Groops's written reviews are positive against 70% of Number Place by Fifol's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Groops ships an update every 8 days, Number Place by Fifol every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
