# Screen Time Control vs Blocc

The clearest difference is rating: Blocc at 5.0 against Screen Time Control's 3.9. Blocc also leads on ads (none vs shown). Screen Time Control's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Time Control sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Blocc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blocc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Time Control has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
