# Tesseract vs Stuff Check

The clearest difference is rating: Stuff Check at 5.0 against Tesseract's 4.5. Stuff Check also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Tesseract's advantage is ratings volume (110 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tesseract sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Stuff Check sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stuff Check holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tesseract has 110 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Tesseract's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stuff Check's.
