# Fasting Tracker vs Michael

The clearest difference is ads: Michael at none against Fasting Tracker's shown. Michael also leads on ratings volume (39 vs 3). Fasting Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasting Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Michael sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fasting Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Michael has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fasting Tracker ships an update every 3 days, Michael every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
