# Fasting Tracker vs Scrollhole

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fasting Tracker at free with in-app purchases against Scrollhole's subscription. Fasting Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 days) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Scrollhole's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasting Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Scrollhole sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fasting Tracker against 5.0 for Scrollhole. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively.

Fasting Tracker ships an update every 3 days, Scrollhole every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
