# MOON vs Albedo

The clearest difference is update cadence: MOON at weekly against Albedo's every 5 months. MOON also leads on chart position (#59 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MOON sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year and Albedo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MOON ships an update weekly, Albedo every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
