# Smart Keys vs HookGPT

Smart Keys and HookGPT both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of HookGPT's written reviews are positive against 43% of Smart Keys's. HookGPT also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). Smart Keys's advantage is ratings volume (535 vs 32) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Keys sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and HookGPT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HookGPT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Keys has 535 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Smart Keys's written reviews are positive against 100% of HookGPT's.

Smart Keys ships an update every 2 weeks, HookGPT every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
