# Bomb Dodge vs Chopper Bomber

The clearest difference is rating: Bomb Dodge at 4.8 against Chopper Bomber's 3.8. Bomb Dodge also leads on ratings volume (23 vs 4). Chopper Bomber's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bomb Dodge holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bomb Dodge has 23 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Bomb Dodge's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chopper Bomber's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bomb Dodge ships an update every 4 months, Chopper Bomber every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
