# Notez vs KNOCKKNOCK / Retro Notes

The clearest difference is rating: KNOCKKNOCK / Retro Notes at 5.0 against Notez's 4.2. Notez's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (92% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KNOCKKNOCK / Retro Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Notez asks for nothing beyond the download.

KNOCKKNOCK / Retro Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notez has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Notez's written reviews are positive against 67% of KNOCKKNOCK / Retro Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
