# e vs Touch Metronome

The clearest difference is rating: Touch Metronome at 4.4 against e's 3.0. Touch Metronome also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). e's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 57%). On update cadence, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

e costs $1.99 and Touch Metronome $0.99 up front. e sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Touch Metronome asks for nothing beyond the download.

Touch Metronome holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Touch Metronome has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of e's written reviews are positive against 57% of Touch Metronome's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
