# Rubrics vs Easy Portfolio

The clearest difference is rating: Rubrics at 4.2 against Easy Portfolio's 1.0. Rubrics also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 38 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Easy Portfolio's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rubrics sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Easy Portfolio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rubrics holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rubrics has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Rubrics's written reviews are positive against 100% of Easy Portfolio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rubrics ships an update every 3 months, Easy Portfolio every 38 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
