# ClassGenie vs FastShared

The clearest difference is update cadence: ClassGenie at every 2 days against FastShared's every 3 months. FastShared's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClassGenie sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FastShared sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ClassGenie ships an update every 2 days, FastShared every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
