# Rhymate vs OverRun

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rhymate at none against OverRun's 1. OverRun's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OverRun sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Rhymate asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rhymate ships an update every 3 months, OverRun fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
