# Remote Legacy vs Remote Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Remote Camera at 5.0 against Remote Legacy's 1.9. Remote Legacy's advantage is ratings volume (113 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Remote Camera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Legacy has 113 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
