# DayCalc vs Plusly Calculator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DayCalc at 87% against Plusly Calculator's 50%. DayCalc also leads on ratings volume (126 vs 1). Plusly Calculator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayCalc sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Plusly Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plusly Calculator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayCalc has 126 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of DayCalc's written reviews are positive against 50% of Plusly Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DayCalc ships an update every 3 weeks, Plusly Calculator monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
