# DayCalc vs Super Calculator

The clearest difference is rating: DayCalc at 4.7 against Super Calculator's 3.0. DayCalc also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (128 vs 2). Super Calculator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayCalc sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Super Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayCalc holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayCalc has 128 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DayCalc ships an update every 3 weeks, Super Calculator weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
