# DayCalc vs Calculator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DayCalc at 87% against Calculator's 45%. DayCalc also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (128 vs 8). Calculator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayCalc sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Calculator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayCalc holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayCalc has 128 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of DayCalc's written reviews are positive against 45% of Calculator's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
