# Open Planner vs ABA Fieldwork Flow

The clearest difference is monetization model: ABA Fieldwork Flow at free against Open Planner's free with in-app purchases. Open Planner's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Open Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ABA Fieldwork Flow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Open Planner against 5.0 for ABA Fieldwork Flow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Open Planner has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Open Planner ships an update every 10 days, ABA Fieldwork Flow every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
