# Cozy Mahjong vs Spellist

The clearest difference is price: Cozy Mahjong at Free against Spellist's $1.99. Cozy Mahjong also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (301 vs 1). Spellist's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Cozy Mahjong is free to download; Spellist costs $1.99 up front. Cozy Mahjong sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Spellist asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cozy Mahjong holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cozy Mahjong has 301 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Cozy Mahjong's written reviews are positive against 100% of Spellist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cozy Mahjong ships an update every 4 days, Spellist every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
