# The Stack vs ThinkLess

The clearest difference is update cadence: ThinkLess at every 5 days against The Stack's every 5 weeks. ThinkLess also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). The Stack's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Stack sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ThinkLess sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Stack ships an update every 5 weeks, ThinkLess every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
