# Sortara vs DisasterVault

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sortara at 9 against DisasterVault's 1. Sortara also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sortara sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and DisasterVault sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sortara against 5.0 for DisasterVault. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sortara has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Sortara ships an update fortnightly, DisasterVault every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
