# ALPHABETICON vs 3D Text Viewer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 3D Text Viewer at none against ALPHABETICON's 1. 3D Text Viewer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months). On rating, review sentiment and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ALPHABETICON costs $4.99 and 3D Text Viewer $0.99 up front. ALPHABETICON sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 3D Text Viewer asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ALPHABETICON against 5.0 for 3D Text Viewer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3D Text Viewer has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ALPHABETICON ships an update every 9 months, 3D Text Viewer every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
