# Train Match! vs Elevator People

The clearest difference is rating: Train Match! at 4.5 against Elevator People's 3.3. Train Match! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ratings volume (61 vs 7). Elevator People's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elevator People sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Train Match! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Train Match! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Train Match! has 61 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Train Match!'s written reviews are positive against 40% of Elevator People's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Train Match! ships an update fortnightly, Elevator People weekly. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
